1. The production cycle begins with the processing plated copper wires, which are then processed through stranding machineries to obtain different copper wire diameters.
2. The production process continues with the primary insulation and stranding phase of the semi-finished product. This semi-finished product builds the base for further stages of our production.
3. In the following steps, through the most modern equipment, shielding and taping operations are carried out (mainly dedicated to special cables).
4. The last production cycle involves the secondary insulation phase or the final coating in insulating material of the product obtained with a sheath in specific plastic materials according to the type of cable under production.

All production steps involve the use of innovative techniques for process control, in order to ensure compliance with the different types of cables. The production range covers many sectors, from railways, optical, telecommunications, oil&gas, industrial automation to marine industry, as result of continuous investments in research and development.

Metallurgica Bresciana S.p.A.vwas founded in 1968 starting with the production of copper multi-tubes for instrumentation in the Oil & Gas sector.

In the early 90's, Metallurgica Bresciana see the broadband business opportunity and decide to invest in the newest machinery for the production of fiber optic cables.

In 1993, as a result of a large investment, the construction of the first and only linear electron beam accelerator in Italy became a fact. E-beam irradiation is a process in which the polymer is exposed to a high charge stream of electrons which improves the mechanical and physical properties of the insulating material. This helped with the development of cables for the railway sector, such as internal cabling for rolling stock and miniaturized high temperature resistant cables for railway and industrial applications.  
 

In 2011 Metallurgica Bresciana S.p.A. expand its international activities by establishing a new production site in Ma'anshan, China for the production of cables for the local market.
