Function and Application
As a new type of antibiotic biogenic insecticide, it has the advantages of broad spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity and low residue, and has good insecticidal effect on lepidopteran pests, the LC90 value of carbaryl salt to some lepidopteran insects ranged from 0.002 to 0.89 mg/l. Compared with its Lead compound Avermectin, it is less toxic to rats and is only 1/6 as toxic as Avermectin. It is safe and easy to be degraded in humans and animals at normal doses. At present, Avermectin is often used to control vegetable pests, such as diamondback moth, beet armyworm, Spodoptera Litura, etc. , it has been widely used in the control of cruciferae vegetable pests and effectively controlled the occurrence scale of lepidopteran pests, which delayed the evolution of resistance to traditional insecticides.
