bipolar type electrolytic cell for synthesis of succinic acid by electrolysis, they do not require a diaphragm, but with multiple cathodes and anodes, plate and frame bipolar type electrolytic cell structure ensures the realization of green electrochemical technlolgy, energy-saving and emission reduction technology. In this bipolar type electrolytic cell, succinic acid is synthesized by electrochemial reduction of maleic acid at teh cathode. This unique electrolytic cell can be used for continuous electrolytic production, but also for internittent electrolytic production of succinic acid.
The production capacity of single one bipolar type electrolytic cell is 100Kg/day. The electrolytic cell can be integrated assembled, with series or parallel assembly, in bipolar type undivided electrolyzer. The expanded capacity is equal to single one cell multiplied by the number of cell assembled.
