The waste PE film may have few water on the surface of material,it is 3%-5% or higher, the new compactor pelletizing air hot cutting pelletizing line can be cut-melt-pelletizing in one machine.It is also called 3 in 1 PP PE film pelletizing machine.
Our compactor unit with blades will cut the long tape of PE film into small flakes. The new design cutter layout improve the cutting capacity and fastly sent the film into extruder.
In the middle of extruder screw, we design the special structure to max the capacity.Also,the degassing vacuum station is a key point to improve the quality of granules.
Becauyse the PE tyre film sometimes has small metal inside,so we put 3-5 layers meshes inside of filtration screen and in front of cutter.It is from 80 mesh to 150mm.
Compared to regular pelletizing line, the hot air cutting system is in opposite direction which is upward for blowing and cooling the granules in first time. It not only flying/cooling the granules,but also absorb the granules into constantly hoppers.Enough power of sunction fan here will stop the sticky.
After hot air cutting, the granules must be sent to cooling units by long flying distance. The hopper with double layers provide cooling water in middle to cool down the hot granules. The SUS stainless steel 304 made hopper with thichness of 3mm.
In the end of pelletizing line,we also put a vibrating screen to select the best granules and stop the useless elements.
Regular PE tyre film water ring cutting pelletizing line
The first half of regular pelletizing line is same as the hot air cutting pelletizer, the difference is start from the cutting position.
Here,we use a water ring spary cutting cooling way to cooling down the pellets. The cooled water between 5-30 degree is an ideal temperature.
After cooling by water,the pellets will be sent to centrifuge dryer immedietely. The high speed rotation force to remove water in a short time.
Before packing and weight,we put a longer vibrator screen machine to double dry the granules. and to control the quality of granules.

PP PE Film Granulating Line Working Procedure:
PP PE film→Belt conveyor→Compactor→Mother extruder →Hydraulic screen exchanger →Baby extruder→Hydraulic screen exchanger →Die face cutting system →Air transmission →Silo storage
Feed offcut PP PE film on the Belt conveyor machine and send into Compactor for cutting, heating, compacting and mixing, then enter the extruder for extruding.
Feed regrind material through the Spiral charger and Feeder on the extruder.
Instruction: the film and regrind material can be recycled separately or together, depending on customers' different needs.
PP PE Film Granulating Line Detail:
Belt Conveyor
As our standard design, plastic scraps such as film, filament, raffias conveying into the compacting room through belt conveyor; to handle rolls' scraps, roll hauling off device is an optional feeding method. Motor drives of conveyor belt and hauling device cooperate with ABB inverter. Feeding speed of conveyor belt or roll hauling off is fully automatic based on how full the compactor's room is. Metal detector can be combined with belt conveyor, and can interlock with contrl system, to warn and stop the system, in case that metal is found in feeding.
Compactor / Agglomerator
The rotatory blades of compactor will cut up incoming scraps. Frictional heating which caused by high speed rotatory blades will heat and let scraps shrinking just below their agglomerating point. Optimal designed guide structure compacts the material and directs it into extruder screw. Crushes, dries and compacts the material which enables a fast and stable feeding from the compactor directly into the extruder
Degassing Extruder
A specialized single screw extruder applied to gently melt the pre-compacted material. The plastic scraps will be well melted, plasticized in a 36D processing section. With double-zone vacuum degassing system, volatiles such as low molecular and moisture will be removed efficiency, especially suitable to heavy printed film and material with water content
Water-ring Die-face cutting system
Water-ring die-face/Strand cutting methods are usually adopted. In water-ring die-face cutting system, the rotary cutting blades will be pneumatically fit completely and closely to the die-face surface to ensure efficient cutting. Rotary speed of the blades is automatically adjusted by module system according to melt pressure at the die face.
Vibration drying system
Advanced dewatering vibration sieve combing with horizontal-type centrifugal dewatering present high performance dried pellets and lower energy consumption.Combine crushing, compacting and plletizing steps in one system, less-labor cost.Higher efficiency feeding, suitable to film, filament, raffia, foaming materials;Higher output and lower energy consumption.
