Neomycin sulphate is a kind of aminoglycoside antibiotics.This product to staphylococcus aureus (methicillin sensitive strains), corynebacterium genus, e. coli, klebsiella bacteria genera, proteus and enterobacteriaceae bacteria have good antibacterial effect, for each group streptococcus, streptococcus pneumoniae, enterococcus is active.
Neomycin sulphate pseudomonas aeruginosa, oxygen resistance.Bacteria to streptomycin, kanamycin and neomycin, have a partial or total cross resistance between gentamycin.Neomycin systemic medication has significant nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity, is currently limited to oral or topical application.


Function                           
1.Neomycin Sulphate Mainly for the treatment of trachoma,conjunctivitis,and so on.
2.Oral administration can be used to:
(1) Neomycin Sulphate can used to Intestinal infection.
(2) Neomycin Sulphate can also be used as an adjuvant therapy for bowel preparation before colon 
     surgery or hepatic coma.
Neomycin Sulphate should not be used for the treatment of systemic infections.

Neomycin Sulphate mainly for the treatment of trachoma, conjunctivitis, and so on.

 

Appliction                        

Characteristic of this product is white or kind of white powder;Odourless;Easy to lead wet;Aqueous solution show dextral light.The product easy to dissolve in water, in ethanol, ether, acetone, or almost insoluble in chloroform.Identify

 

(1) take this product for about 10 mg, add water 1 ml dissolves, add 2 ml of hydrochloric acid solution (9-100), heated in water bath for 10 minutes, with 2 ml of 8% sodium hydroxide solution and 2% acetyl acetone solution 1 ml, water bath heating in 5 minutes. After cooling, add to dimethyl amino benzene formaldehyde test solution 1 ml, namely the cherry red.
