This fluorescence real-time PCR Kit is a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) test. The new virus 2019 primer and probe sets are designed to detect RNA from the N and the RdRp genes from the virus genome in upper and lower respiratory specimens from patients with signs and symptoms of infection who are suspected of the new virus disease. The sequences of N gene and the RdRp gene are specific for the new virus. This Real Time PCR Kit uses rRT-PCR and Taqman chemistry which is specifically applied to the reaction site.

During PCR, a reaction product is formed by a specific primer at the target gene region of the virus, and at the same time, fluorescence is formed as the specific Taqman probe is decomposed in each gene. This kit is used together with the CFX96 Dx System (Bio-Rad Inc.), Applied Biosystems 7500 RealTime PCR Instrument System (Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.), or SLAN-96P (Shanghai Hongshi Medical Technology Co. Ltd). The RNA sample is extracted automatically by using the RNA extractors with model code NFAST 32A or NFAST 96 from Uni-medica (Shenzhen Uni-medica Technology Co.,Ltd).
