Mine flameproof cable junction box
Scope and application
BHD2 series mine flameproof junction box (hereinafter referred to as the junction box) is suitable for underground coal mine with explosive gas (methane) environment. It is used as the branch of lighting, signal and power cable connection in the power supply network with AC frequency of 50 Hz and voltage of 1140 V.
The junction box is designed and manufactured according to gb3836.1-2000 electrical equipment for explosive gas environment Part 1: General requirements, gb3836.2-2000 electrical equipment for explosive gas environment Part 2: flameproof type "d" and mt429-2008 flameproof low voltage cable junction box for coal mine.
Use condition
a. The altitude is not more than 2000mb. The ambient temperature is generally: - 20 ºC - + 40 ºC
c. The relative humidity of ambient air is not more than 95% (at 25 ºC)
d. Where there is no significant shaking and shock vibration
e. In coal mines containing explosive gases
f. Pollution level: 3

Product structure
* The junction box is composed of flameproof enclosure (shell and cover), insulated terminal block, cable entry device and internal
and external grounding device.
* The shell and cover are made of HT250 cast iron, which are connected by plane flame-proof joint surface or cylinder explosion-
proof joint surface and are fixed with bolts.
* The insulating terminal block is pressed with glazed ceramic, which has excellent electrical performance.
