DM7008 MSP polymer Advanced windshield sealant

DM221 is a one-component MSP polymer adhesive for direct glazing binding, moisture curing type, a special sealant suitable for bonding and sealing of vehicle windshield and vehicle body. It has features of moderate modulus, flexibility and with strong adhesion, damping performance, good elongation, and good resilience. And the sealant is suitable for the porous and non-porous materials with good adhesion, can be coated with paint and has other outstanding features, is a high-performance general-purpose elastic sealant.

  6. Strong adhesion, especially for glass and painted surface. 
  7. After curing, the shrinkage rate is very low, the shaping is good, there is no dent, and the glue is smooth
  8. Good adhesion to glass and painted surface, high tear resistance, excellent mechanical properties.
  9. Good weather resistance, UV resistance, good elasticity and adhesion in the range of -40°C~90°C. 
  10. No primer required.

Applications
  1. It can be used for bonding, sealing, shock absorption and waterproofing of glass and metal sheet such as cars, passenger cars, new energy vehicles, construction vehicles, electric vehicles, and modified cars. It can also be used to fill gaps between metal sheet and metal sheet, as material of sealing and waterproofing.
  2. Other industrial or residential applications that require bonding, sealing, shock absorption, and waterproofing.
  3. It is suitable for elastic sealing of various substrate joints, including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, PVC, polyester, ceramics, wood, coating, etc., but not suitable for PP and PTFE materials.

Application tips
  1. The bonded surface must be clean, dry and free of putty before bonding.
  2. Substrates that may seep out of oil are not suitable for direct application of sealant.
  3. For rusted or corroded metal surfaces (such as aluminum oxide, copper, iron oxide rust surface), in order to ensure the bonding effect, the rust on the surface layer needs to be worn off before coating.
  4. Due to the construction environment, construction methods, and material differences, pre-testing is required before use to ensure adhesion performance.
  5. The optimal coating temperature is +15 ~ +40°C. When the temperature is low, the extrusion resistance increases, warm up the adhesive before use. The curing speed of sealant is related to the temperature and humidity of the environment. Under high-temperature or high-humidity conditions, it will be quickly crusted. Low-temperature and low-humidity will delay the curing process. The final curing time is also related to the thickness of the glue applied.

Applications
MS7008 is mainly used for waterproof seals for various joints in building walls, and is especially suitable for prefabricated cement board joints.
1. Suitable for the installation of shear wall structure joints as sealant (including internal & external joints).
2. Suitable for the sealing of prefabricated cement wallboard installation joints of assembly building parts.3. Sealing for joints of stone curtain wall and aluminum-plastic panel curtain wall.
