Yk11 was first studied by Japanese researcher yuichiro Kanno in 2011. It was found to be a partial agonist of androgen receptor (AR) with gene selectivity. Yk11 is an experimental candidate drug and an unapproved substance for human body. So far, limited research has been carried out, although the preliminary findings on muscle cells are very promising. Preliminary studies show that yk11 may have greater muscle construction effect and tendency to act as an inhibitor of myostatin than DHT.
