Product Description:
A manhole cover or maintenance hole cover is a removable plate forming the lid over the opening of a manhole, an opening large enough for a person to pass through that is used as an access point for maintenance and other work on an underground utility vault or pipe. It is designed to prevent anyone or anything from falling in, and to keep out unauthorized persons and material.
Manhole Covers are manufactured for construction and public use. Manhole Covers shall be smooth and free from sand holes, blow holes, distortion or any other defects

Characteristics of nodular cast iron manhole cover:
1. High strength Ductile iron has a tensile strength of more than 420 MPa and a yield strength of more than 300 MPa. It is the same as low carbon steel and is three times that of gray iron.
2. Good resistance The impact value is similar to that of carbon steel, which is 10 times that of gray iron.
3. Good plasticity. The ductility elongation is greater than 7%. Similar to high carbon steel, the elongation of gray iron data is zero.
4. Corrosion resistant. The 90-day spray corrosion test and the 0.1-time gray iron pipe corrosion were only 0.25 times that of the pipe. The service life is 2 times longer than the gray iron pipe and 5 times longer than the ordinary steel pipe.
In most municipal applications, such as water, brine, steam, and cast iron, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance are superior to steel. Due to the microstructure of spherical graphite cast iron, ductile iron is superior to steel in reducing the oscillation capacity.
Advantages of ductile iron manhole covers:
