CA1505/PA6 BASED SILICONE MASTERBATCH

Product description
CA1505 is a pelletized masterbatch containing 50% of an ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) siloxane polymer dispersed in PA6. It is an additive to be used in polyamide compatible systems to improve flowability and modify surface characteristics.

Special Features
Improved processing and flow of the resin including less extruder torque, less extruder die pressure, faster throughput, reduction of melt viscosity and better mould filling and less die buildup.

Processing
Suitable equipment for processing comprises twin-screw extruder, kneader, or batch-mixer. CA1505 can be blended with resin polymer pellets to give the desired siloxane level in the final product.

Limitations
This product is neither tested nor represented as suitable for food contact, medical and pharmaceutical uses.

Package and Storage
Normally 25Kgs/PE Bag and is also available in a variety of container sizes.
Minimum Order Quantity: 500 Kg.
Shelf life is 36 months. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
