Description

Magnesium oxide board (also called MgO board) is a new fireproof building material, it is made of 100% natural materials, has excellent fireproof performance, is widely used as partition, ceiling, backer board, veneer, etc, can replace gypsum drywall and cement board.

Raw Material

The materials of magnesium fireproof board are Magnesia(MGO), Magnesium Chlorid(Mgcl2)and Alkali glass fiber mesh.


 

Features

1.       Fireproof: Grade A non-combustible, the fire-resistant limit of 12mm MgO board can reach 2 hours

2.       Waterresistant: physical properties keep unchanged after being soaked in water for 1 month, the flexural strength is higher in wet condition than in dry condition.

3.       Tough and flexible: can do various modeling 

4.       High strength: flexural strength in wet condition is 18Mpa, flexural strength in wet condition is 22Mpa

5.       Light weight: average density ranges from 0.9 to 1.2g/m³

6.       Easy and swift construction: can be scored and cut with utility knife or cutting machine, can be installed with conventional fastener and nail gun.

7.       Healthy and environmental friendly: it is made of 100% natural materials, the board doesn't contain asbestos, formaldehyde or benzene
