4. Recommended electrophoresis conditions:
a. Use SWE fast high-resolution electrophoresis buffer (G2081) for electrophoresis: 200-250 V constant voltage, 25-35 minutes to complete electrophoresis;
b. Use Tris-Glycine electrophoresis buffer (G2018) for electrophoresis: set the voltage of the upper gel to 90 V, and electrophoresis for about 30 minutes (marker enters the separation gel); adjust the voltage of the lower gel to 150-180 V, about 60-90 min (can be Adjust according to the actual situation).
Precautions
1. All reagents need to be warmed to room temperature in advance before use.
2. AP (ammonium persulfate) is prepared with pure water to a concentration of 10%, that is, 1800 μL of pure water is added to each 180 mg AP (ammonium persulfate) tube to dissolve. The AP prepared as a solution is recommended to be stored in small aliquots at -20°C, with a validity period of 3 months; if stored at 4°C, the validity period is 1 week.
3. It is recommended to use Tricine gel for protein separation less than 10 kDa. Acrylamide gel may not be sufficient for separation.
4. Temperature has an effect on the setting time of the glue. Generally, the lower the temperature, the longer the setting time; the higher the temperature, the faster the gel.
5. The gel needs sufficient setting time. It is recommended to make the gel and let it stand fully to ensure that the gel is complete.
6. When the temperature is low, the 10% SDS solution will crystallize out, and it can be used after reheating and melting at 37°C.
7. If you need quick gel preparation reagents, you can purchase other products of our company, such as SDS-PAGE rapid gel preparation kit (G2037), or ultra-fast color gel preparation kit series (G2041/G2042/G2043/G2044/G2045) , G2060/G2061/G2062/G2063/G2064), and high-resolution ultra-fast color gel preparation kit series (G2066/G2067/G2068, G2071/G2072/G2073), which can meet different experimental needs.
8. For your safety and health, please wear lab coats and disposable gloves for operation.
