1.Usage and characteristic:
1.1 Product overview:
Single phase prepayment watt-hour meter uses imported specific large-scale integrated circuits, 16 bit A/D conversion, digital multiplier, digital sampling and processing technology and SMT technology. It can measure active power consumption in three-phase three-wire or three-phase four-wire AC grid which the measuring rated frequency is 50Hz or 60 Hz.
1.2 Main features:
It can be applied to computer management, first purchase electricity then consume electricity. Limit the maximum power within rated current range (defined by the electricity sector). Each meter has a card. The card is specialized. You can still use electricity if you lose the card, and you can fill the card to continue to use. The electric card can realize bidirectional data transmission. It can switch off automatically when the electricity is zero. It has anti-theft software design. It can be installed indoors. The applicable environmental temperature is -20~+55ºC , the relative humidity can not be over 85%. There is no corrosive gas in the air. Avoid dust, mold, insets etc.

3. Principle of operation
3.1 Principle of operation details
Voltage divider gets voltage sampled signal, current transformer gets current sampled signal, and multiplying units get voltage and current product signal. After frequency conversion, there will be a count pulse which frequency is proportional to product of voltage and current.
3.2 Data processing
Electric energy measuring pulse is stored in non-volatile EEPROM after CPU processing through photo coupler. Computer manages information system and IC reading and writing card inputs a certain amount of electricity and microprocessor system with Monitoring requirements. And it will supply displaying signal, alarm signal and cut-off state signal after CPU processing.
4. Installation and how to use
4.1 Watt-hour meters have passed strict inspection before they leave the factory and they are be sealed stereotype. The meters which don't have stereotype or are stored for a too long time should be rechecked before installation.
4.2 Watt-hour meter should be installed indoors which is dry and well-ventilated. And they usually adopt installation mode that they are hanged vertically. Installation height is proposed in 1.8 meters. The installation baseboard should be fixed in walls which is strong, not easy to vibrate and fire-resistant.
4.3 In filthy places which watt-hour meter should be installed in protective cabinet.
4.4 You should install and connect according to instruction manual or connection diagram, and it's better to use copper joints to introduce to avoid burning the meters because of poor contact.
4.5 In places where lightning is much, you should take measure of lightning protection to avoid burning the meters because of lightning.
4.6 Watthour meter's load capacity is 0.05Ib~Imax (access directly) or 0.02Ib~Imax (access through transformer). If it is more than this load capacity, watt-hour meter will measure inaccurately or current coil will de burned.
4.7 When watthour meter is accessed through transformer, actual electricity is the displayed number multiplied by the ratio.
4.8 A card for a meter: IC cards users hold are not interchangeable. You can buy one from power supply department if it lost.
4.9 Preparation of purchasing electricity: IC card should be inserted into cassette, so that data in the meter can be sent to computer database.
4.10 Electricity purchasing mode: When purchasing electricity, IC card should be inserted into IC card reader, operate computer and identifier users at he same time. Capacity limit, power limit, etc. should be written into IC card with encryption when purchasing in advance.
4.11 Using IC card: IC card should be inserted into cassette. If it is a valid IC card, the meter will read the data automatically. Display scream will display orderly: power purchasing quantity(P0== XXXX), total power purchasing quantity (P=XX XXXX),purchasing times(PC== XXXX),alarm power quantity(P1==XXXX), Credit limit (P2== XXXX),power limit capacity (F0X= XX:XX). Please save the card.
4.12 Operation display: Display scream will turn to show remaining power quantity and total power consumption when meter is operating.
4.13 Over capacity alarm: When meter is process of operation, "alarm indicator lamp" flashing displays quickly. It warms the users that it is over power capacity. If the user set limit capacity mode of cutting power when overcapacity, 30s after overcapacity, brake pull 3 minutes, the meter will restore power supply in countdown mode (180s). If user inserts the card, the meter can restore power supply right now.
4.14 Hoarding power quantity: If purchasing power quantity + remaining power quantity> hoarding power quantity(10000kwh), purchasing power quantity can not read, display scream show tips of "surplus limited quantity", power quantity in the card is valid.
4.15 Warning remind: when remaining power quantity is less than 2 times of "alarm power quantity", "alarm indicator lamp" will flash (interval is 1s )to remind users to buy electricity .If users insert the card, "alarm indicator lamp" 's flashing interval will change to 2s, it can avoid power off warning.
4.16 Power off warning: If users don't insert the card and users set warning when overcapacity, remaining electricity is conventional warming electricity or 10% of purchasing electricity, and watt-hour meter switches off and warns, and display scream shows "brake pull" .At this time ,It can restore power supply if IC card inserts into IC cassette. If you can not find IC card after brake pull, you can borrow neighbors' IC card to restore power supply.
4.17. Purchasing electricity warning: "alarm indicator lamp" will light continuously to remind users when remaining electricity is less than "alarm electricity".
4.18 Failing report: when remaining electricity is zero or negative value, display scream shows "brake pull". f meter can go on operating, users should buy electricity right now, and reflect to power supply department initiatively.
