EHCP HYDRAULIC SET RETRIEVABLE PACKER  

INTRODUCTION

EHCP is a hydraulic packer that is released by cutting and unsealing the production packer. The packer has a large inner diameter, and the large diameter and no mandrel movement when setting the seat makes the packer ideal for use with multiple packers in series.

The EHCP packer can also be configured as a direct shear release retrievable packer or, in the event of a high pressure expected, the packer can be set to a cut-off releasing. In the cutting and releasing design, the packer mandrel is cut and the packer is retrieved with the liner without leaving any packer components in the well.
