What is an electrically assisted bicycle?
An electric bicycle works is almost exactly like a conventional bicycle with the addition of an electric motor to give you extra power when you pedal. Our electric bicycles come with three levels of assistance so you can choose how hard you want it to work. It rides just as well without the power if youre feeling like more of a challenge.

· what is the bicycle driving range?
The range will be effected by road condition,driving ways,temperature and loading situation,and different bicycle models have different ranges.

· Do I have to pedal?
Our electric bicycles are pedal-assisted. That means the power comes in as the pedals are turned. This provides a very natural feel to the electric bike and ensures you are in control at all times.

· Does the charger cut out when the battery is fully charged?
Yes, it is fully automatic so it will stop charging once it senses that the battery is full.

· How long does it take to recharge the battery?
An entirely empty battery charges to full in around five hours. Our electric bike batteries use lithium ion technology and can be topped up before the full discharge. A battery indicator on the battery and the control panel tells you how much battery power you have left.

· Who is it designed for?
Everyone and anyone. EU law states that riders should be over 14 years old.

· Can I carry a baby seat, panniers or tow a trailer?
Yes. Our electric bicycles come equipped with carrier for load carrying. Ideal for panniers and the Pletscher child seat. Most bike trailer systems also work well.

· Is the charger included with the bike/kit?
The bike or kit includes the battery charger.

· What is shelf life of the battery?
The charging ability of the battery will get lower and lower when recharged,and bike range becomes shorter.Usually,drivers need to change a new battery after 1500 changing times or no power display.

· Does the charger indicate when the battery is full?
Yes, the light goes from red to green.

· How can you supply the bikes and kits so cheaply?
We are the manufacturer hence we can get lower prices for components. This is despite the fact that most of the bikes are designed specifically by ourselves. However, the fundamental reason is that we have no "middle men" such as dealers. Traditionally these will add some 15-30% onto the bikes price

· Do you offer any warranty?

· If you run out of battery power is it more difficult to ride by pedal power than an ordinary bike?
The bikes are little heavier than non-electric bikes but the motors we use have a free wheel facility which means that there is very little motor drag when you are pedalling without power.

· I know all the kits use brushless motors but what are the motors?
For all the technically minded forum types out there, all of our more expensive bikes use brushless motors as we have found through experience that they provide high performance and are extremely reliable. Other bikes use readily available motors such as those used by our competitors including companies such as Giant.

· What are the advantages of Lithium batteries?
Li-ion batteries are lighter than other equivalent batteries such as Lead Acid batteries. They do not suffer from memory effect and also have a low self-discharge rate of approximately 5% per month. However, to preserve your lithium-ion battery it should be charged early and often so when you come back from a ride, you simply plug the bike into the charger regardless of how much power you have used. The Battery Management System, integrated into the charger and the controller, then takes care of how much charge the battery needs. The disadvantage is that if you are going to leave your bike for a long time then you have to charge up the battery once a month to ensure that the battery charge does not fall to too low level.

· Can the charger be carried in a backpack as I want to charge the battery at work?
The charger is very light and easily carried in a pannier or backpack
