Geotextile Filter Sand Dewatering Bag for Sea Wall Protection

Product Application
Geotechnical dewatering bag   made of high strength PP woven geotextile fabrics large bag , the diameter can be varied according to needs, the most has been more than tens of meters long.Geotechnical dewatering pipe bag was initially used in dike engineering, but now it has been applied to environmental protection, agriculture and other fields after the efforts of the majority of technical workers. With the deepening of people's research, its application field will be more and more extensive.

This knowledge technology have a three-step process:

Frist Step:
Filling -- The bag body is made of high strength, sludge (dredged material) is pumped into the dewatering bags. Environmentally-safe flocculant polymers are added to the sludge water, which makes the solids bind together and water separate. The dewatering bags unique fabric confines the fine grains of the material.

Second Step:
Dewatering -- The clear effluent water simply drains from the dewatering bags through the small pores in the specially engineered textile. This results in effective dewatering and efficient volume reduction of the contained materials. The bag body can be filled repeatedly until the allowable height of the bag material is reached,
. Over 98% of solids are captured, and clear filtrate water can be collected and recirculated through the system. The decanted water is often of a quality that can bereturned for processing or returned to native waterways without additional treatment.
Last Step:
Consolidation -- After repeated filling and drainage, the fine particles left in the bag will gradually solidify due to drying. After the final cycle of filling and dewatering, the solids remain in the bag and continue to densify due to desiccation as residual water vapor escapes through the fabric. Volume reduction can be as high as 92 percent. When full, the dewatering bags and contents can be deposited at a landfill, remain on-site, or the solids can be removed and land-applied when appropriate.
