        Benzimidazole is a kind of broad spectrum, high efficiency and low toxicity benzimidazole deinsectives. It has a strong affinity with the microtubulins in the structure of the insect body. By affecting the transport and energy metabolism of cells, it prevents the aggregation of microtubules and finally destroys the integrity of the insect cells and the function of energy transmission. Benzimidazole has been used to kill animal gastrointestinal parasites. It has high insecticidal activity against not only ascaris roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, part of tapeworm and round nematode, but also has good efficacy against some bronchial tree and pulmonary parasites (cat lungworm and lungfluke). Good for poultry gastrointestinal tract and respiratory nematodes. According to the daily dose of 8mg/kg for 6 days, it is effective against Ascaris chicken, Trichonematode and Taeworm. The effective dose of Ascaris turturis was 350mg/kg at one time, but 45mg/kg diet was used for 6 days, and Ascaris turturis, Ascaris heterocinoides and Capiloidis closed were completely eliminated. The optimal insecticide scheme for pheasants, partridges, grouse, geese and ducks was 60mg/kg feed concentration for 6 days. The effective rate of domestic pigeons with natural infection of occlusive capilloides and roundworm was nearly 100% when mixed feeding with 100mg/kg for 3-4 days.
