With the continuous improvement of environmental protection standards, there are more stringent requirements for dust emission concentration. In key areas, the dust concentration s 10mg / nm index is implemented, and more and more local governments even put forward the near "zero" emission requirement of dust concentration s 5mg / Nm3. To achieve this target, the only technical means is to implement the "wet electrostatic precipitator" transformation after the desulfurization tower.

There are two main sources of boiler tail gas smoke and dust: one is the residual amount of smoke and dust generated by combustion after electrostatic precipitation; the other is the residual amount of desulfurization products in spray slurry of desulfurization tower carried by flue gas, which is also an important cause of flue gas plume tailing and "chimney rain". J-TECH special wet electrostatic precipitator for desulfurization is one of the achievements of the National 863 program. It has been applied in Guangzhou key science and technology research program, Guangdong major science and technology special program, and the National 863 program With the support of the project, we have successively worked with Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Jiaotong University and Beijing University of petroleum to tackle key problems, digested and absorbed foreign advanced wet electrostatic precipitator technology, and developed a special wet electrostatic precipitator for desulfurization with independent intellectual property rights. In March 2011, the first domestic wet ESP with honeycomb conductive FRP structure for desulfurization was built and put into operation in the power division of Baling Petrochemical Company of Sinopec Group, reaching the advanced level of similar technology abroad.

The desulfurization treatment of thermal power plant mainly adopts wet desulfurization technology, which absorbs SO2 gas in flue gas by spraying alkali liquor. Due to gas-liquid contact, droplets with particle size of 10-60 μ m will be formed in flue gas. These droplets usually include suspended solids and dissolved salts, which not only contain water, but also dissolve sulfate, SO2, so: acid mist, micro dust, etc., with size of 0.001-10 μ M. these substances are discharged into the air It will bring a series of problems to the surrounding equipment and environment. They are combined with fog to make the sky gray. The traditional folding plate mechanical demister can remove 20-30 μ m of the upper limit of the droplet size, and it can't do anything about the fine particles smaller than this size. However, the wet electric demister (WESP) can capture 0.01 μ m or even smaller droplets or particles.

Therefore, wet electrostatic precipitator is the most effective technology choice to achieve near "zero" emission of flue gas in thermal power plants.

Technical principles
