Sodium formate is usually stored safely, with moisture absorption and easy deliquescence. Attention should be paid to moisture protection during storage and transportation. In case of moisture absorption and caking, the product properties will not be changed and can be used normally after crushing.

(1) It is mainly used to produce sodium formate such as formic acid, oxalic acid and insurance powder, and also used in printing and dyeing industry; 
(2) Used as reagent and mordant for the determination of phosphorus and arsenic; 
(3) Used as a preservative. 
(4) : used for alkyd resin coating, plasticizer and strength; 
(5) It is used as acid resistant material, aviation lubricating oil and adhesive additive.
