What is Trimethoprim?
Trimethoprim is shorted as TMP. which is white or off-white crystalline powder, no odor, bitter taste.
It is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, used solely for respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, intestinal infection and other diseases, and can be used to treat sepsis, meningitis, otitis media, typhoid fever, shigellosis (dysentery) caused by sensitive bacteria.
