General-purpose polystyrene is a thermoplastic resin that is a colorless, odorless, odorless, shiny, transparent beaded or granulated solid. The density is 1.04~1.09, the transparency is 88%~92%, and the refractive index is 1.59~1.60. Under the action of stress, birefringence is produced, the so-called stress-optical effect. The melting temperature of the product is 150~180°C,the thermal decomposition temperature is 300°C, the heat distortion temperature is 70~100°C, and the long-term use temperature is 60~80°C.
