With the ability to roam the earth and soar up into the sky, birds are natural symbols of freedom. Capturing this free spirit of the birds as well as the duality of their solitary and social nature, Plover is a collection of chairs co-created by architect Eric Tong and a group of THEi product design students, either used individually or collectively for brainstorming, seminars and co-creation. 


Specific product description

As birds of a feather do flock together, Plover is a set of multipurpose chairs meant for group settings such as schools and startups due to its agility and mobility. The zoomorphic design not only comes in various colours, chair legs, and structural options to accommodate a maximum of one to six persons, but most importantly, it also empowers users with the freedom to decide on their own sitting directions and postures.
