Introduction
Poly(A) is a suitable carrier for quantitative precipitation of DNA and RNA, especially to improve recovery of low amounts of nucleic acid or of short fragments <200 bp.

Special Quality Inspection
1. Size ( Agarose gel electrophoresis after hybrid with Oligo(dT): 100-5000nt, mostly at 500~3000nt.
2. Inhibitors: Do not inhibit RT-PCR (addition of 2ul of 1ug/ul Poly A to 25ul Real Time RT-PCR Reaction).
3.Function: Viral RNA were isolated from 0.2ml Plasma (Contain 100IU/ml HCV) by using HiPure Viral DNA/RNA Kit. Addtion of 0ug or 4ug Poly A as Carrier RNA to the lysis Buffer. Additon of Carrier RNA significantly reduced by 1-3 CT Value compared to the control group(no addition of Poly A).
