Production Description of Ball Mill
 
The ball mill is one kind of new high efficient grinding machine. This mill is mainly used for coarse powder and small size of sand producing. The ball mill is widely used in metallurgy, mining, chemical, cement, construction, industrial and mining industries etc. 
 
Application
Ball mill machine is widely applied in the industries, such as cement, silicate product, refractory, fertilizer, mineral processing of ferrous and nonferrous metal and glass ceramic, etc. It is mainly used to make dry or wet powder grinding of various ores and other grindable materials.

Working Principle of Ball Mill
Materials are fed into the hollow drum through the hollow shaft to be crushed. There are grinding medium with various diameter (steel ball, steel rod or gravel) inside the drum. When the drum revolves at a certain speed centered on horizontal axis, the medium and materials will be lifted to a certain height under centrifugal force and friction. When the gravity is larger than the centrifugal force, they will leave the drum and be thrown or roll down to crush ores by impact. Meanwhile, the sliding movement of medium will also grind materials. After that, materials will be discharged from the hollow shaft.
