The EC-770 series thickness gauge can non-destructively measure the thickness of non-conductive coatings on metal surfaces, as well as the thickness of non-ferromagnetic metal coatings on ferromagnetic metals (such as iron, nickel, cobalt). Specific applications include measuring the surface paint or plating of iron and stainless steel.
