Oily Absorbent Sock Overview:

These flexible, easy-to-shape oil absorbent socks are specifically designed to absorb up to 15 times their weight in oil spills and are non-biodegradable.

Features of Oily Absorbent Sock:

• White, oil-only absorbent socks quickly soak up spills
• Poly-blend materials. Available in three sizes
• Absorbs hydrocarbons only. Repels water. Floats on water.
• Great for water applications as well as land use
• High visibility white is easy to see even when saturated
• Flexible Oil absorbent socks can easily be shaped or molded
• Provides a dike for spills
• Made of white speckled poly-blend (100% post-industrial recycled Poly Blend filler).

Application of Oily Absorbent Sock:

Great for water applications. Our Oil Absorbent Socks repel water and only absorb oil based fluids (hydrocarbons). They will not sink in water even if saturated with oil. Because they float they are ideal for cleanup of waterborne hydrocarbons. Oil absorbent socks can easily be shaped or molded around equipment. Provides a dike for spills.
