Is a hydrophobic fumed SIO2 obtained from hydrophilic fumed silica after post-treatment with dimethyldichlorosilane.

Product Features
TD 1010 is fine particle hydrophobic silica.
TD 1010 contains largerthan 2.7 % chemically bound carbon and is therefore not wettable by water.
The wettability of TD 1010 with methanol is approx. 59 % and indicates its highly hydrophobic character .
Due to its high effectiveness and ease of dispersion ,so TD 1010
 is very suitable to be used in a great variety of defoamer
