Application:
 It is a benzoyl urea insecticide, which is soluble in acetone and dichloromethane and has stable chemical properties. It is a chitin synthesis inhibitor, with high insecticidal and oviparicidal activity, and quick-acting, especially to control cotton bollworm. Mainly used in cotton, potato and fruit trees to control a variety of Coleoptera, Diptera and Homoptera insects. For example, it can control many kinds of pests such as golden moth, peach miner, leaf roller, thorn moth, peach borer, and other fruit trees such as jujube, apple and pear, and control citrus leaf miner.
 Hexaflumuron is a termiticide (an insecticide specifically used on termites)  This chemical is used as part of a termite inspection, monitoring and baiting system. It is the first active ingredient registered with the EPA as a reduced-risk pesticide.
