XM detachable aluminum coated fiberglass sleeve is specialized in protecting wires, cables, hoses, oil lines from extreme heat conditions and provides superior protection from radiant heat by reflecting 90% of it away from sensitive electronics, wiring and hoses. Its flexible hook & loop closure system allows for installation without the need to remove and reconnect fittings and terminations. The reusable closure additionally allows for easy repair, minimizing labor and costly downtime.
Good thermal insulation and radiation resistant performance make XM detachable aluminum coated fiberglass sleeve withstand continuous exposure to 250ºC(482ºF) that is widely used in automotive under-the-hood protection.
XM-AS is a aluminum coated braided fiberglass heat reflective sleeve and reflects more then 95% radiant heat. It is easily to install due to the smooth inner fiberglass surface.
