The interlayers is with thickness of: 0.38mm 0.76mm 1.14mm 1.52mm 1.9mm 2.28mm. When the glass is broken, it is still pasted onto the film so that is also called safety glass.
What is laminated glass?
Laminated glass, is also called sandwitch glass,  is processed with special technology under high heating and high pressure by adding one or more layers of Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) or SGP. The interlayer could be various colors, such as clear,lacte, grey, blue,green,pink  etc .  
Besides, it can be further processed into tempered laminated glass, laminated glass with holes/cutouts /grooves/notches and insulating laminated glass etc.
