NANHAI - MARINE AIRBAGS STRUCTURE
NanHai - marine rubbr airbags, basic body consists of which consist of our rubber layers, synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber layers, are kind of a cylindrical airbags with hemispherical heads at the both ends. All of these are vulcanized together, and then compress air inside to enable in to roll.

Normally when we say the length of the airbag, we mean the Effective Length
1). Outer Rubber
The outer rubber layer that covers the outside of launching airbags protects the cord layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tear strength to withstand any weather condition and hard usage. Standard color is black.
2). Synthetic-tyre-cord layer for reinforcement
The reinforcement cord layers, which are made of Synthetic-tire-cord commonly used in tires, are arranged at ideal angles to hold the internal pressure and to distribute the stress evenly providing strong efficient reinforcement.

3). End Fittings
End fittings include air tightness swivel and airbags safety air inlet.
NanHai-Marine Airbag is to be constructed of an outer rubber layer, one or more Synthetic-Tyre-Cord layers, and an inner rubber layer.
The arrangement of Synthetic-Tyre-Cord reinforcement layers is showed below. All materials shall be vulcanized firmly.

APPLICATION OF NANHAI-MARINE AIRBAG
1. For ship upgrading, conversion or new/repair launching
2. Marine airbag for salvaging sunken ship or heavy immersed steel structure

Towing arrangement
A windlass shall be used to control the movement of the ship. Tow system that comprises windlass, steel wire rope and pulley set shall be securely fastened to the ground anchor in front of the berth.
In general, a slow windlass shall be selected for ship launching. The veering speed of the windlass shall be 9 m/min to 13 m/min.
The forces of the windlass and the steel wire rope should be calculated carefully by technicians of ship yards or air bags company.

Besides the airbags, we can provide any equipments that are need druring the ship launching or salvage, including rope or rope net, winch, rubber tube and air compressor machine, etc.
2. Q : How can the rubber airbags can load thousands tons ships when launching.
A : Our airbags are made by 54% natural rubber and use special synthetic-tire-cord layer(tire) material.
It is high kneading and compressing resistance, extend its lifespan to 10years. The heavier the ship, the more airbags needed.
3. Q : How to use marine airbags to salvage ship:
what equipments are needed to install / securing / inflate the air bags(for salvage)?
A: You will need diver to go under the water(install); and tie our deflated airbags with rope or net to the bottom of your ship(securing);then inflate the airbag with air compression machine linked by rubber hose on the land (inflate ).
