When the HYM620 intelligent tuning fork switch works, it excites the fork body through piezoelectric crystal to make the fork body in resonance state.When the fork touches the material, the resonant frequency will change significantly.The internal electronic unit detects the fork frequency, processes it, and converts it to relay or PNP switching output. The HYM620 intelligent tuning fork switch is equipped with a variety of durable stainless steel tuning fork bodies for tank or pipe level testing for a variety of liquids, powders, and granular solids. It can be threaded, flanged, or installed in pipes or tanks, or in food industry facilities with sanitary fittings.

Installation:

Installation Note:
 
  1. Make sure the liquid is within the specified temperature and pressure range.
  2. During installation, do not use your hands to grasp or knock the fork, so as to avoid deformation of the fork, or even damage the internal piezoelectric crystal.
  3. During installation, uplift, i.e. fork up, is not allowed.
  4. When mounted horizontally, the two forks must be at the same height, not one up or one down.
  5. Instrument installation position must avoid direct impact or spatter of materials.If it cannot be avoided, a protective cover can be installed above the instrument to prevent the material from impacting the fork body.
  6. Pay attention to prevent the adhesion of materials (such as solid powder, concentrated pulp, asphalt, etc.), affect the vibration of fork body.When this kind of situation may occur, the long fork body with large cross spacing should be selected. At the same time, the installation position of the fork body and the tank wall should have enough space.
  7.  It is necessary to carefully consider the installation position when detecting the solid material level. Due to the influence of the rest Angle of the material and the feeding position, the material level surface is usually not a plane.For horizontal installation, the fork end is recommended to be within 1/3 radius of the container inner wall.When mounted vertically, the distance between the mounting center and the inside of the container is equal to 1/3 of the radius of the inside of the container.
