When implanted in the tissue, the Polyglycolic Acid has a minimum tissue reaction, on a microscopic basis, as well as formation of connective tissue around the suture. This is comparable to other absorbable synthetic suture of Polyglycolic Acid; However, our Atramat Polyglycolic Acid offers a predictable absorption rate and high tensile strength above the USP standard, thus providing an artificial support to tissue during the critical cicatrization period. RECOMMENDATIONS
