.
Activated aluminum oxide  is also called activated alumina. It is a highly porous or granular alumina with the ability to absorb gas, vapor, specific liquids and moisture. Compared with CaCl2 and silica gel, it can be said to be a more powerful water remover. After using, it can be regenerated by heating to 170°C~300°C. The regeneration of adsorption can be repeated many times. It can be made by heating aluminum hydroxide to dehydrate under precise temperature control conditions.
Application:
It can be used in a wide range of fields.In addition to water removal, it can also be used in the adsorption of air impurities, high-level gas purification processes, or desulfurization in petroleum products. It is also commonly used as a carrier in Chromatography analysis.
