Diesel Particulate Filter was a porous wall flow type ceramic filter. It is also available for diesel particulate matter removal. The ceramic filter is made of cordierite, it has highly filtering efficiency be up to 95%. Diesel particulate filter is used to remove black smoke (PM e. G.: Hydrocarbons, soot) from diesel engine exhaust, being a great contribution to the environment because of dealing with the exhaust from diesel engines. The diesel particulate filter can be used in different industrial fields such as environment protection, petrol-chemistry, medicine manufacture, and metallurgy etc. It has good investment return and broad prospect. The system installed DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) been examined for urban bus, forklift, truck & mining constructing equipment.
Diesel particulate filter is also called DPF, is the key component of exhaust system of diesel engine vehicle or machine. It is a kind of wall-flow honeycomb ceramics, made of cordierite ceramics, with features of strong mechanical strength, high open porosity, high soften temperature, low thermal expansivity etc. DPF monolith is an idea component for diesel soot filter, it has an excellent performance in filtering the fine particulates in the diesel engine exhaust. Cordierite DPF is the most used component in the diesel exhaust treatment.
Diesel particulate filter is a setting to reduce emission granule by filtrating which is set in exhaust system in diesel. Its efficiency for carbon particulates filtration is more than 90%. Part of dissoluble organic composition (SOF) (especially high boiling point) may be trapped. So reduce the pollution to the environment. It would be a great help to solve the problem of air pollution in city.
