Wavy Tail Anchor

Wavy Tail Anchors are suitable for transporting very thin-walled precast components such as thin walls, flat panels, etc, even precast masonry wall components can be transported with the Wavy Tail Anchor.

the wavy tail anchor can be installed in concrete with compressive strength ≥15 N/mm3withoutadditional reinforcement, provided that there is a minimum surface reinforcement, inserted wavedrebar only takes over the local transmittance of force in the concrete.

To guarantee the local transfer of force into the concrete, a certain edge distance must be observed. Also, the panel thickness must not fall short of a certain minimum.

The Wavy Tail Socket Inserts are complete reinforced anchors for installation into precast units of all sizes e.g.Safety barriers. The unique design of the reinforcing tail safely transmits the tensile forces into the concrete, alleviating the need for additional reinforcement.

All units can be supplied complete with a plastic cap (optional extra) to prevent contamination of the socket thread.
