Product introduction
Omldeen 1000m network signal lightning protection device (SPD, surge protector) is designed according to IEC and GB standards. It is mainly used to protect sensitive Ethernet 100m high-speed network communication lines, and to protect it from major damage caused by lightning induced voltage, grid voltage fluctuation interference, electrostatic discharge and transient surge voltage caused by heavy load startup. It is applied in lightning protection zone 1-2 and 2-3.
Functional features
1. High current capacity: 10kA (8 / 20 μ s), high speed reaction (10 ns), low loss (≤ 0.2db);
2. Internal use of two-stage series compound protection, low residual pressure, long service life;
3. It has three protection functions of over-current, over-voltage and clamping, with fast response speed;
4. When the lightning surge invades, there is no need to stop the electrical equipment, which does not affect the normal operation of the equipment;
5. It has the function of clutter isolation to isolate interference signal and enhance signal transmission rate
6. Single way / 4-way / 8-way / 16-way / 24-way can be selected freely, which makes installation more convenient and takes no space.
Installation method of lightning arrester
1. This series of network signal lightning arresters can be directly installed in series at the front end of the protected equipment (or system), and the closer the installation is to the protected equipment (or system), the better.
2. The input terminal (in) of the lightning arrester is connected with the signal line, and the output end (out) of the lightning protector is connected with the protected equipment.
3. PE line of lightning arrester must be strictly equipotential connected with lightning protection system, otherwise it will affect the working performance.
4. The product does not need special maintenance and should be installed close to the equipment end as far as possible; when the working system is in trouble and the lightning arrester is suspected, the lightning protector can be removed and checked again. If it is restored to the state before use, it should be replaced.
5. Lightning arrester grounding shall be connected with the shortest possible wire. The lightning arrester grounding adopts terminal grounding mode, and the grounding wire must be connected with the lightning protection ground wire (or the shell of the protected equipment). The shielding wire of the signal can be directly connected to the grounding terminal.
6. If the lightning arrester is installed under the condition that it does not exceed the requirements, it does not need long-term maintenance, and only needs routine maintenance of the system; if there is a problem in the signal transmission during the use process, the signal transmission returns to normal after replacing the lightning protector, which indicates that the lightning protector has been damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced.
Precautions for installation of surge protector
1. All ports of lightning arrester output end are connected with the protected equipment;
2. Do not connect the input and output circuits in reverse or wrong way;
3. The closer the lightning arrester is installed at the front end of the protected equipment, the better the effect is;
4. The equipment needs regular inspection and must be replaced immediately after the deterioration of the product;
5. The grounding must be good and the grounding resistance should not be greater than 4 ohm
