Application:
Butyryl hydrazide is a succinic acid plant growth regulator, which can delay the senescence of leaf lettuce and inhibit the decay and discoloration of mushrooms, but has less effect on green cauliflower and asparagus cypress. Butyryl hydrazide can preserve the chlorophyll in plants and extend the life of some perishable vegetables. It is reported that the combined application of butyryl hydrazide and ethylene can effectively inhibit the synthesis of solanine in potato storage.
