Micro arc oxidation (MAO) is a new surface treatment technology developed on the basis of conventional anodization. It is a kind of technology that puts Al, Mg, Ti and other valve metals or their alloys in electrolyte, makes spark discharge on the surface of materials by electrochemical method, and forms in-situ oxidation film with ceramic characteristics on the surface of materials under the joint action of thermochemistry, plasma chemistry and electrochemistry.

The micro arc oxidation power supply can be used for micro arc oxidation of aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and titanium alloy (with different electrolyte), which should be reserved in the design.

The micro arc oxidation treatment adopts a new electrolyte with long-term effect and no environmental limiting elements, which has the advantages of fast film forming speed, compact film and no loose layer. There is no waste gas escaping and no waste water discharging in the treatment process, and the cleaning water can be used as supplementary water for the oxidation tank in the oxidation process. Perfect technology, green environmental protection.

2 Technical requirements for main processes
(1) Oxidation: remove the floating dust and obvious oil on the surface of the workpiece before oxidation, and seal the parts that do not need to be oxidized.
(2) Spray
The spray head direction and spray pressure are adjustable. The time was controlled in 1-2 minutes; The spray water shall be replaced once a week, and the wastewater after replacement shall be used as make-up water for oxidation tank.
(3) Immersion washing
The soaking time is about 1-2min. The soaking water is replaced once a month, and the replaced wastewater is used as supplementary water for spraying.

3 Main functions of Mao power supply:

1. The power supply is designed and manufactured with high-power IGBT and full switch inverter circuit;
2. Users can set it according to the maximum value of the actual output power, constant current mode;
3. The controller is designed and programmed by DSP digital chip to realize full digital control;
4. 10 inch color touch screen display and operation;
5. RS485 interface, optical fiber data transmission, can realize remote control and display, provide communication protocol;
6. Air cooled, equipped with temperature probe to prevent excessive temperature difference;
7. Over current, short circuit, over-voltage (high output voltage), over temperature (IGBT working temperature) and open phase protection;
8. Constant current, manual constant voltage working mode;
9. Multiple process curve setting, positive and negative pulse ratio setting;
10. The power supply uses high-frequency inverter, and the output stage uses high-power IGBT as chopper;
11. Cabinet size: width 1800, height 2000, depth 1000, (actual delivery size is subject to) spray plastic, gray white cabinet, wire drawing aluminum panel;
