1. Measurement and feeding of syrup:

During feeding, the syrup shall be measured in the reaction metering tank, and then mixed with the catalyst through the feeding bucket before being added to the hydrogenation reactor. During feeding, the emptying valve of the hydrogenation reactor shall be opened first, and then feeding shall be carried out when the pressure drops to 0.

2. Hydrogenation reaction and operation of syrup

When adding materials, first close all valves and inject hydrogen. When the pressure in the kettle reaches 0.2-0.3mpa, open the vent valve, the pressure in the kettle drops to 0, repeat for three times, open the mixer for mixing, the pressure rises to 5.0-7.0mpa, and when the temperature is above 100 ºC, the pressure is 7.0-8.0mpa, and the speed does not exceed 150r / min.

At the initial stage of reaction, the temperature is controlled between 120-130 ºC, the pressure is 9.0MPa and the rotating speed is below 150r / min.

In the middle stage of the reaction, the temperature is controlled between 130-140 ºC, the pressure is 9.0MPa and the rotating speed is less than 150r / min.

3. Discharge of syrup and separation of syrup and catalyst

After the reaction is complete and the sampling is qualified (reducing sugar content ≤ 0.2%), the material shall be discharged, the pressure shall be relieved during discharging, the pressure in the kettle shall be reduced to 3.0MPa, and then the material shall be discharged. Check the condition of the settling tank and the switch before discharging.

After the syrup enters the settling tank, most of the catalyst settles to the cone of the settling tank, and the supernatant above the cone is sent to the plate and frame filter press to further separate from the catalyst. The clear liquid enters the post-treatment and the separated catalyst is recycled.

4. Decolorization filtration

Connect the material liquid after slag removal and filtration to the decolorization tank, and inject a certain amount of activated carbon slurry under the condition of continuous stirring; The decolorization time shall be controlled at about 30 minutes, and then pumped into the filter press for decolorization and filtration. The decolorized solution shall be returned to the pre delivery tank after passing the reflux. The decolorization solution shall be clear and free of carbon leakage. The decolorization tank shall be used alternately. It is strictly forbidden to feed and discharge at the same time, so as to avoid affecting the quality of feed solution due to the failure of decolorization time to meet the requirements.

5. Ion exchange

Although the syrup solution is treated with activated carbon, the inorganic salts and organic impurities in the alcohol solution need to be further removed. In industry, ion exchange resin is used to treat syrup, which plays the role of ion exchange and adsorption. The ash content of syrup treated with ion exchange resin can be reduced to one tenth of the original, and the colored substances and substances producing color can be completely removed. Therefore, not only the clarity of the product is good, but also the color will not change after long storage, which is conducive to the preservation of the product.

6. Evaporate

The concentration of purified syrup is relatively low. Evaporation is used to concentrate the sugar solution to meet the required concentration.
