Colorless columnar or granular particles. A bitter salty. The relative density 1.67. In dry air weathering. Melting point 1124, (No water content), soluble in ethanol, glycerin, insoluble in acetone. Used as an analytical reagent, such as for sulfate precipitation agent. Also used in medicine, printing and dyeing, papermaking, ceramics and leather industry.
