color indicating cation resin is a sort of strongly acidic cation exchange resin with indicator in it, it not only can exchange with the cation in the solution, but also has obvious color indication characteristic. This kind of resin is emerald while it is in regenerate type(H), and become deep blue while it is disabled (Na), the color changing is very obvious.

color indicating resin is used mainly to measure the cation conductivity of steam and condensate polishing mixed bed outlet water. The color indicating resin is loaded into the transparent exchanging kettle whose diameter is smaller than 50mm, the micro mineral in the water can be exchanged into acid, so the sensitivity of cation monitoring is promoted greatly. At the same time the color of the resin can be changed into deep blue while the resin is disabled, so the working state of the exchanged kettle can be indicated obviously.

color indicating cation resin can be also used together with the color indicating anion resin(or strongly basic anion resin) to be loaded into the transparent exchanging kettle, used as the mixed bed resin with indicator in the monitoring of inner cooling water of the generator in power plant or electronic instrument and food medical industries and so on.
