(BDO) discription:
bdo is butlanediol, or buta==ne, in which one hydrogen of each methyl group is replaced by hydroxyl group. A colorless, water-soluble, room temperature viscous liquid (M.P.16 degrees Celsius) with a high boiling point (230 degrees Celsius) is mainly used in the production of other organic chemicals, especially solvent pentan*e ring (also known as tetrahydrofura*n or THF). It has the functions of neurotoxin, original solvent and prodrug. It's butanlediol and ethylene glycol.
