Guarana is a climbing plant in the maple family, Sapindaceae, native to the Amazon basin and

especially common in Brazil. Guarana features large leaves and clusters of flowers, and is best

known for its fruit, which is about the size of a coffee bean. 

Guarana extract  powder is made by pulverizing the dried fruit into a fine powder.The fruits of the guarana plant contain twice to thrice the amount of present in coffee beans (approximately 4 percent), xanthine and tannins. Guaranine is the main ingredient in Guarana and this ingredient is (in chemical terms) close to .
