DescriptionC-lin Brand photoelectric proximity sensor switch is a displacement sensor with switching output, output mode have NPN, PNP, NO, NC and relay etc, it can be detect metal (such as iron, steel, copper) object, plastic, glass, wooden, water, paper, magnetic etc. transparent or opaque objects, can be connect with PLC, servo controller, frequency inverter, counter, controllers to achieve the purpose of automatic signal input control. It is widely used in the field of machinery, textile, light industry, papermaking, printing, packing industries.There are three different sensing mode: through beam type, retroreflective type, and diffused type.
A through beam type photoelectric sensor consists of a emitter and a receiver. Due to the separately arrangement of the emitter and receiver, the sensing distance is greater than others, the operating distance can be 1m to 10m or more.
A retroreflective arrangement places the transmitter and receiver at the same location and uses a reflector to bounce the light beam back from the transmitter to the
receiver. An object is sensed when the beam is interrupted and fails to reach the receiver.
A diffuse type photoelectric sensor can detect any reflective object, in this mode, an object is detected when the receiver receves the transmitted light or fails to receive it

Output ModeProduct DetailsApplicationsPacking BoxOperating Distance and Rated Sensing Distance1. Diffuse Type photoelectric sensor switch, the operating distance is a distance at which the target approaching the sensing face along the reference axis causes the output signal to change
2. Differential travel: is the distance between the operating point when the target approaches and the release point when the target moves away.
3. Through-beam type and Retro-reflective type, the operating distance should be less than the rated sensing distance, should leave a margin, the sensor may also work when it exceed the rated sensing distance, but the performance can't be guaranteed. In additional, when in the garbage and dust enviroment, the operating distance should also keep less than the rated sensing distance.
4. When use through-beam type, the min.size of the test object is determined by the lens diameter and the installation inclination of the emitter and receiver.
5. Diffuse type photoelectric sensor switch, the sensing distance is measured based on the standard sensing object,actual operating distance may vary according to the size of the target object, color and irregularity surface, operating distance should be set within the rated sensing distance.
