DWX Suspended Single Hydraulic Prop is a new-type single support product for the working surface, which is through over ten years effort of China University of Mining and Technology in research, design, production, test, industrial application and repeated modification and improvement. This type of prop has overcome the defects and problems of the single hydraulic props which are widely used at home and abroad and it is creatively innovated in fields of technical principle, structure, performance, safety and environment. It is strictly conformed to the national standard - MT112-2006 Single Hydraulic prop for coal mine and it has the Safety Certificate of Approval for Coal Mining Products. It is an ideal product for end support in the highly mechanized general mining face and fully-mechanized mining face. It can be used in the thin/mediate/thick coal seam due to high load capacity, strong inclined loading proof capability, long working stroke and wide range of application.
DWX Suspended Single Hydraulic Prop is a new type patented product with 16 patents. One of the patent numbers is 97107063.6. It was appointed as the 1Oth Five-year key promotion project of the National Science and Technology Achievements by the National Ministry of Science and Technology in 2003, and appointed as the 11th Five-year National Torch Plan Project in 2006.

Features and Characteristics of the DWX Suspended Single Hydraulic Prop
With the plunger suspension technical principle, the suspension force can reach up to 4/5 of the working resistance, and the supporting force on the prop is only 1/5 of the working resistance, which greatly improves the stability and safety of the prop, and also enhances the supporting height, load capacity and load deflection resistance capability.
Unlike the existing props used in domestic and abroad, which all employ the way of welding the column cap with three-use valve on the upright column, and weakens the strength of the upright column, the movable column of the DWX Suspended Single Hydraulic Prop has no arc welded seam. This strengthens the strength and reliability of the column and avoids the potential risk of cracks in welding joint on the capand ensures the safety of the people working around.
Compared with props of the same dimensions, DWX prop is 15-30% lighter than the current DZ props in weight, and is much shorter in height, which makes it easier to move around and operate. It is much the same as aluminum alloy parts in weight but greatly superior in working resistance and stroke.
With long working stroke, it can be more widely used, especially in areas where there are large sinkareas on roof. The long-stroke DWX prop can also meet the demands of large constant increasing resistance and decreasing distance. It is convenient to withdraw and also minimize the production cost
DZ plunger prop has risk of false supporting due to leakage in column cylinder, which will cause serious acrident. An instrument has to be used to detect the leakage inside the cylinder. However, DXW prop has totally overcome this problem and it can be easily observed from outside. If any leakage occurs, it can be fixed by directlyinjecting fluid or replacing the prop, without complicated detection.
The three-use valve of the DWX prop is set on the handler. Therefore, the three-use valve will not rise along with the prop plunger during injection, which is convenient, safe and reliable.
The sealing points of the DWX prop employ the principle of seal-compensation and seal-tight. When there's wear and tear, it can be compensated effectively. When there's high pressure, it can be sealed tightened. This avoids the replacement of sealing parts and minimizes the maintenance cost.

The DWX prop employs nickel-phosph or-boron plating, which greatly improves the features of anti-corrosive, anti-ftiction, and impact performance and prolongs the life of the prop. It uses underground water in the coal mine for working medium, which avoids the environment and underground water from pollution, ensures the drinking water quality for the people living around. It is an ideal supporting device for environment protection.
