Introduction:
Chopped strand mat is produced by chopping continuous roving into length of 5cm and randomly dispersing the cut fibers. These fibers are held together by powder or emulsion binder. It is typically used for hand lay up process. The mats are compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and PU resins. Width ranges from 50mm to 3200mm.

ECR chopped strand mat is made of ECR roving, which has higher strength and more corrosion resistant.
