DESCRIPTION
Flexibond 5300 is a two-component water based polyurethane adhesive, mainly used for bonding PVC sheets,carpets, fabrics, double-sided fabrics, leather and so on to ABS, ABS/PC board, fiber sheet, SMC, wood composite and other substrates for molding, such as vehicle roof, door trim, luggage rack, pillar interior, etc. This adhesive is very eco-friendly, can be activated at a lower temperature, and has excellent bonding properties.

1.The mixed product contains isocyanate, please read MSDS carefully before use.
2.Flexibond 5300 is a water-based product, must store in the original packaging within the range of 5-35ºC. If the temperature is too low, it will agglomerate; if the temperature is too high, it will cause degradation and weak the adhesion.
3.Under the above storage conditions, the shelf life of the main glue is 6 months. Because high temperature or transportation bumps may cause rubber to fall into the material on the drum lid or drum wall, the main glue should be filtered before use.
If the temperature is lower than 5ºC or higher than 35ºC, should ship the main glue with air conditioning or thermal insulation system. Handling and unloading should not stay in outside for too long to prevent agglomeration.

1.Check the substrate before gluing, make sure free of oil stains, water stains, dust, volatile substances, etc.; check the spray gun, make sure nozzle is clean so that to spray glue smooth;
2.Filter the main glue first, then mix with the hardener with ratio 100:5, the speed of the dispersing machine is about 500r/min, and after stirring for 5- 10min, a uniform blue glue solution is formed.
3.Use a pneumatic spray gun to spray glue evenly on the surface of the substrate, the amount of glue is about 80-140g/m2.
4.Put the glued substrate in a 60°C oven or drying tunnel for 5-10 minutes, then coating while hot.
5.Put the fitting sample into a constant temperature room (23 ± 2ºC, 50%RH) for 72 hours, and it can be used or tested.
6.After the gluing is finished, use the running tap water to clean the spray gun and the storage tank in time, not overnight.
7.The glue that has been mixed with the hardener should be used up within 4-6h. The main glue without hardener can be sealed with a barrel lid and placed in a constant temperature warehouse at 5-35°C, which can be used the next day.
If it is PP/PE and other difficult-to-stick substrates, it must be treated with flame or plasma before gluing.
