Pellinus linteus (Japanese "meshimakobu", Korean "sanghwang", English
"Meshima", American English "black hoof mushroom") is a medicinal mushroom
used in Japan, Korea and China for centuries to prevent ailments as diverse as
gastroenteric dysfunction, diarrhea, haemorhage and cancers.

We carried out artificial cultivation experiments of Phellinus linteus in
2002. In 2017, the production of Phellinus igniarius reached 2000kg,
which is the earliest and largest base of Phellinus linteus in China.

Phellinus linteus has a marked anti-cancer effect. One way is
by blocking an enzyme called AKT. AKT is known to control
signals that lead to cell growth. Phellinus linteus extracts have
anti-tumor properties on skin, lung, breast and prostate cancer
